The conference will be held in the province of Styria in Southern Austria. Due to the beautiful landscape with its lovely vineyards this area is also called the Tuscany of Austria. The gentle slopes around the wine town of Leibnitz forming the borders with the Southern neighbour of Slovenia, represent one of the most impressive regions of Styria.

The conference will be held at Seggau Castle (Webpage: The castle´s history goes back to Roman times, and an utterly unique lapidarium bears witness to this. The upper castle, built by Salzburg archbishops in the 12th century harbours outstanding artistic treasures. Since the 20th century, a modern convention centre that harmoniously fuses tradition with modernity has been incorporated into the site and forms an accomplished act of architectural bridging.

By plane:
The Graz international airport Thalerhof, located 25 km from the conference venue, has many connections to major European airports. From Thalerhof you can take a taxi (approx. 40.-- €) or train.

By train:
Arriving at Graz Central Station you can take train to Leibnitz. Schedules can also be found at the Austrian Federal Railways link From there taxi can bring you to the conference place (approx 7,-- €).

By car:
Leave the highway Graz - Maribor (A9) at Leibnitz.

If you come from the north, i.e. from Graz you should leave the highway A9/E57/E59 at exit Leibnitz (214). After 400 m make a right turn and continue on B74 for about 3 km, passing through Gralla. Go always straight, continuing through two roundabouts. Make a left turn at a sign for Schloss Seggau (Seggau Castle) and drive up a small mountain for about 1.5 km.

If you come from the south, i.e. from Maribor leave the Autobahn A9/E57/E59 17 km after the border at exit 214 to Leibnitz heading for B74 and follow the instructions above.
